As a QA Engineer, you are responsible to ensure timely and comprehensive testing of various applications and services. The role is responsible for applying industry best practices while executing various QA and testing activities including functional, regression, automated and performance testing in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will perform end-to-end cross-discipline leadership including analysis, design, development, quality assurance and ensuring on-time high quality project deliveries. Further, you will lead junior consultants and client staff onsite/off-shore through engagements, support the development of subject matter expertise, thought leadership and strategic capability by delivering a wide range of technical solutions

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in any technical field – with minimum 5+ years of IT experience

• Have experience in defining test strategy spanning across multiple systems, writing test plans, test automation

• Working knowledge of test methodologies, processes, and tools (Selenium, Python or any programming language, Appium, JIRA, STLC, Test Management tool –ALM , Zephyr).

• Have experience owning QA for large scale systems & Big data concepts.

• Strong knowledge of databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle etc).

• Knowledge of components for enterprise architecture like enterprise beans is a plus. Strong experience in Java/J2EE.

• Min 3 years as QA Analyst for large consumer websites and web applications and structured test methodologies

• Experience with working in an Agile development environment

• Knowledge of RPA and related tools like PEGA-PRPC, BluePrism and BPM concepts is a plus.

• Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communications skills along with demonstrated facilitation skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
