Lead the design team in conceptualizing and developing innovative product concepts that align with business objectives and user needs, overseeing end-to-end design processes.
Drive the product design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences across all stages of product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to define product requirements and project timelines, while ensuring design considerations are integrated throughout..
- Conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points, and integrate findings into design decisions, contributing to a holistic understanding of the user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and facilitate iterative feedback loops, iterating on designs based on end-to-end user testing and feedback.
- Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms, actively contributing to the evolution and improvement of the design system.
- Lead, participate, present proof of concepts (POC’s), prototypes, and presentations to customers.
- Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of usability and accessibility in product development, ensuring these principles are upheld throughout the design process.
- Work effectively and in a timely manner to determine the estimate to design, build, code, document, and unit test so that accurate estimates can be provided to the technical supervisor.
- Lead design reviews and critique sessions to foster a culture of collaboration and constructive feedback within the team, ensuring alignment with both end-to-end design goals and design system principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product roadmap initiatives based on user feedback, market analysis, and business goals, ensuring alignment with both end-to-end design objectives and design system requirements.
- Develop ongoing knowledge of PM and analyst coverage in the allocated sector and/or region to plan the results of the season roadshow schedule and curate content, including bespoke field trips and thematic events.
Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design methodologies, tools, and techniques, fostering their understanding of both end-to-end design practices and the contributions to design systems.
Attendance at business requirements and various design and development review meetings to ensure understanding of project scope and deliverables.
