Must-Have

  • A minimum of 5-10+ years of graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse skills

  • A bachelor's degree in any technical or business background is preferred..

  • Understanding of brand developmet with the capability of solving complex problems through effective design

  • Enjoys crafting efficient and engaging user experiences and specialized in 3D modeling, and motion graphics

  • Proficiency in using industry-standard design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin, and OmniGraffle)

  • A portfolio review presentation is required to be considered for this role. Your presentation should cover design solution(s), your creative leadership, and the application of a user-centered design process; as well as showcase your skills as a Visual Designer

Good-to-Have

  • Experience effectively collaborating with a fast-paced cross-functional team (PM, Dev, User Research, Data Science, etc.) to deliver well-crafted, innovative user experiences.

  •  Demonstrated passion for detailed craftsmanship in all phases of product development and the ability to set your team’s quality bar with accurate diagrams, wireframes, and other design artifacts

  • Should possess very good communication skills.

  • Experience with Agile(Scrum) development methodology.

  • Strong knowledge in leading projects that involve design, development, migration, and deployment of software applications.

  • Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communication skills, along with demonstrated facilitation skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

Job duties (not limited to) 

  • Lead the design team in conceptualizing and developing innovative product concepts that align with business objectives and user needs, overseeing end-to-end design processes.

  • Drive the product design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences across all stages of product development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to define product requirements and project timelines, while ensuring design considerations are integrated throughout..

  • Conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points, and integrate findings into design decisions, contributing to a holistic understanding of the user experience.

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and facilitate iterative feedback loops, iterating on designs based on end-to-end user testing and feedback.

  • Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms, actively contributing to the evolution and improvement of the design system.

  • Lead, participate, present proof of concepts (POC’s), prototypes, and presentations to customers.

  • Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of usability and accessibility in product development, ensuring these principles are upheld throughout the design process.

  • Work effectively and in a timely manner to determine the estimate to design, build, code, document, and unit test so that accurate estimates can be provided to the technical supervisor.

  • Lead design reviews and critique sessions to foster a culture of collaboration and constructive feedback within the team, ensuring alignment with both end-to-end design goals and design system principles.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product roadmap initiatives based on user feedback, market analysis, and business goals, ensuring alignment with both end-to-end design objectives and design system requirements.

  • Develop ongoing knowledge of PM and analyst coverage in the allocated sector and/or region to plan the results of the season roadshow schedule and curate content, including bespoke field trips and thematic events.

  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design methodologies, tools, and techniques, fostering their understanding of both end-to-end design practices and the contributions to design systems.

  • Attendance at business requirements and various design and development review meetings to ensure understanding of project scope and deliverables.
